The Mariana Trench, the deepest part of the Pacific Ocean, seems uninhabitable, yet some creatures thrive there against all odds. This project explores life in extreme conditions.

I created a book sculpture with a central abyss to represent the trench’s depth. The book’s dark, plain exterior contrasts with the vibrant interior, surprising the reader. My narrative features a poem using the trench as a metaphor for life’s struggles, emphasizing the importance of hope.

"CRUSH" PAPER SAMPLE BOOK

Favini is an Italian based paper company that makes paperout of organic material such as orange peels and peels of other fruits as well.Through my narrative book I wished to tell the story of Favini and how paper ismade using organic waste.

“I begin by peeling back layers of skin, letting the layers fall to the floor. The sharp smell of citrus hits my nose, as the juice drips down my hand...”

The experience of eating an orange is a wonderful one; one that entertains all of our senses: touch, smell and sight. What if you were to experience something similar through abook?

BRING THE HEAT BROCHURE

Bring the Heat is a social awareness campaign promoting geothermal energy as a solution to global warming. The information booklet evokes tension and urgency through saturated colors, tight waves, and dot patterns. Enhancing the concept further, the cover reacts to heat—changing color when touched—to reinforce the message of bringing the heat.

RASOI TO-GO BOX

Rasoi is an Indian restaurant located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. With modest prices and authentic Indian delicacies, it is a favorite amongst families living nearby and offices located downtown. Because of its prime location, people often prefer to order take out.

I designed to-go box packaging that celebrates the authenticity of Rasoi by depicting illustrations of not only the food but also the utensils and ingredients used in the kitchen.
