iRobot Packaging

Roomba Mini is iRobot’s newest product line, designed for consumers who want the power of a full-sized Roomba in a smaller footprint- without sacrificing performance, personality, or charm.

Our goal was to create packaging that reflects the Mini’s fun, approachable character while clearly communicating its cleaning power and key features. Color became a primary storytelling tool, helping position the product as small but mighty. A human hand is used as a visual comparison to immediately convey scale, making the value proposition clear at a glance

The project began with a cross-studio brainstorm between FutureBrand’s New York and London teams, resulting in three distinct creative territories. Through multiple rounds of iteration and client collaboration, we landed on the final direction: Human Touch.

This concept focuses on making the product feel personal, warm, and attainable—balancing playfulness with premium cues. Tone-on-tone robot imagery set against bold, color-blocked backgrounds brings a sense of joy, while maintaining clarity, calm, and shelf impact.
